Music Analysis Google Meet Virtual Workshop 2022
All workshops held remotely via Google Meets
The workshop will consist of three 40 minute sessions with breaks to stretch your legs and a Q & A session at the end that will be really short if there are no questions!
An in depth workshop that teaches the skills required for Part A of the VCE Music Performance Exam. Focussing on
- Appropriate vocabulary
- Sample responses
- Techniques for answering questions
- Ideas for honing listening analysis responses and writing in exam settings
- Practice analysis questions
Teachers come free when you bring your students.

Exam Preparation Workshop 2022

Presented by Jenny Gillan, author of ‘Listening Beyond Hearing’ and teacher at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School.
For students and teachers of VCE Music Performance.
This Exam Preparation afternoon will focus on the Analysis skills required for Section A of the written exam.
It will cover:

- Required vocabulary for the analysis of the elements of music;

- Linking the elements of music to the creation of musical character;

- Comparison of interpretation questions;
- Exam techniques and strategies.
